This 2008 Chevrolet Impala SS is a NASCAR Cup Series race car rolling chassis that was acquired by the seller in 2025. The car is said to have been campaigned by Furniture Row Racing. Finished in matte black with #78 Furniture Row Racing livery, the car is prepared for oval track competition. It is equipped with a Mid Valley four-speed manual transmission, a full roll cage, a ButlerBuilt racing seat, a fire suppression system, Raybestos brakes, and a carbon-fiber rear wing. This COT rolling chassis is offered in Nebraska on a bill of sale.

The bodywork is finished in matte black and wears a later-style #78 Furniture Row Racing / Denver Mattress livery. Exterior features include a front splitter with adjustable support rods, hood pins, dual NACA hood ducts, roof flaps, a polycarbonate rear window with adjustable bracing, and a carbon-fiber “Car of Tomorrow” style rear wing. The seller notes damage to the driver-side front fender panel behind the headlight decal.

A mixed set of 15″ black steel wheels are mounted with 27.5×12.0″ Goodyear Eagle racing slicks. The suspension features a truck-arm rear setup with coil springs. Braking is handled by four-wheel discs with Raybestos multi-piston calipers over slotted rotors. Tilton Engineering master cylinder reservoirs are mounted in the cowl.

The cockpit features a full white-painted roll cage with door bars and a gray-painted floor. Equipment includes a ButlerBuilt aluminum racing seat with a head restraint system, a racing harness, a window net, a fire suppression system, and a Radio 1/2 toggle switch mounted on the transmission tunnel.

A three-spoke steering wheel is mounted to a quick-release hub and fronts a dash panel housing Auto Meter Pro-Comp Ultra-Lite Memory instrumentation. Gauges include a 10k-rpm tachometer and readouts for oil pressure, oil temperature, water temperature, voltage, and fuel pressure. No odometer is fitted.

The car is not equipped with an engine. Equipment remaining in the engine bay and chassis includes an aluminum radiator with an electric cooling fan, a Setrab oil cooler with braided stainless steel lines, a dry-sump oil tank, and exhaust headers. An SFI Foundation label on the fuel cell indicates a date of manufacture of October 2007.

The transmission is reportredly a Mid Valley NCH-1000 four-speed manual.
