H M meets Crown Prince of Bahrain, reviews bilateral partnership

Muscat – His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik met Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain, at Al Barakah Palace on Sunday.

At the outset, His Majesty the Sultan welcomed Prince Salman, expressing his delight at his gracious visit. For his part, the guest expressed his sincere gratitude and appreciation to His Majesty the Sultan for the warm welcome and generous hospitality.

The Crown Prince also conveyed the greetings of King Hamad bin Issa Al Khalifa of the Kingdom of Bahrain to His Majesty the Sultan, along with his best wishes of good health and happiness to His Majesty. The King of Bahrain also wished the Omani people further progress and prosperity.

On his turn, His Majesty the Sultan asked Prince Salman to convey his greetings and best wishes to the King of Bahrain. His Majesty wished the people of Bahrain further progress and prosperity.

The meeting reviewed aspects of cooperation and partnership between Oman and Bahrain, and ways of promoting these to serve the joint interests, in addition to exchanging views on regional and international developments.

The meeting was attended from the Omani side by H H Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court, Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal Al Busaidi, Minister of Interior, Sultan bin Salim Al Habsi, Minister of Finance, Dr Hamad bin Said Al Aufi, Head of the Private Office, Sheikh Al Fadhl bin Mohammed Al Harthy, Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers, Dr Hilal bin Ali Al Sabti, Minister of Health, and Anwar bin Hilal Al Jabri, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion.

It was attended from the Bahraini side by Sheikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister, Sheikh Issa bin Salman Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister’s Court, Sheikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, Yasser bin Ibrahim Humaidan, Minister of Electricity and Water Affairs, Dr Jalila bint Al Sayed Jawad Hassan, Minister of Health, Hamad bin Faisal Al Malki, Minister of Cabinet Affairs, Abdullah bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce, Shaikh Salman bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, President of the Court of the Crown Prince, and Dr Juma bin Ahmed Al Kaabi, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Sultanate of Oman.
