This 1965 Projects Unlimited Skat Kitty was acquired by the current owner in 2023 and subsequently refurbished. Work included powder-coating the bike red, refreshing the Tecumseh four-stroke single with a centrifugal clutch, reupholstering the tan solo seat, and more. Features include a one-piece cast-aluminum frame and fenders, a quick-release removable handlebar, an upswept exhaust, and a foot-operated rear brake. This Skat Kitty is now offered at no reserve in Florida for off-road use only with a bill of sale.

The one-piece cast-aluminum frame incorporates the engine mount, fenders, and rear-axle mounting, and was powder-coated in red. The solo seat was recovered in tan vinyl with quilted stitching and red piping, and additional details include a fuel tank mounted above the rear fender, folding foot pegs, and a side stand.

The steel 4″ wheels were refinished in white and mounted with 3.50″-wide tires. A pressed-steel fork is found up front, and a frame-integrated rear-axle mount is found out back. Braking is provided by a rear drum that is heel-operated by a pedal located behind the left foot peg.

A wingnut atop the steering shaft releases the black-finished high-rise handlebar, which can be clipped to the frame on the right side for storage or transport. The handlebar has tan grips and a twist-grip throttle, and a run toggle switch is found on the frame. The minibike did not come with instrumentation, and total mileage is unknown.

The seller states the engine was refreshed in the refurbishment and is a Tecumseh four-stroke single rated at 2.5 horsepower when new. Equipment includes a recoil starter, a partially-shrouded cylinder head, and a black-finished upswept exhaust system that exits on the left side of the bike. The bike has not been started or ridden following the refurbishment.

The bike is equipped with a centrifugal clutch, a jackshaft, and a drive chain.

Photos showing the bike before the refurbishment are captured in the gallery.

The bike does not have a title or registration. It is being sold on a bill of sale only.
