Turkey: ‘No defender can stop him’ – Kahveci hails Paul Onuachu

Ex-Besiktas man Nihat Kahveci, has hailed Super Eagles attacker, Paul Onuachu, for his physical ability, saying he is the biggest threat in the air in the Super Lig.

Kahveci’s respect grew after Onuachu’s performance in Trabzonspor’s 3-2 match against Fenerbahçe at Papara Park on Saturday night.

The Nigerian player scored Trabzonspor’s second goal by heading the ball powerfully, and he linked up well with a cross from Mathias Fjørtoft Løvik.

On the Kontraspor YouTube channel, Kahveci said that Onuachu’s big size and good jumping ability make it really hard to stop him.

“From that cross that was played, I don’t see any center-back who can stop Onuachu. “Maybe there isn’t one in the world,” Kahveci said, as reported by T24.”

The ex-Southampton player has been playing very well, scoring 16 goals and providing one assist in 19 league games.

His long run of scoring has put him at the top of the goal scorers list, just one goal ahead of Uzbek player Eldor Shomurodov, even though he has played two games less than Shomurodov.
