1978 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40

This 1978 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 is a US-market example that was acquired by the seller in 2022 and refurbished during a project that was completed in 2025. It is finished in red over gray upholstery and is powered by a 4.2-liter 2F inline-six linked to a four-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Equipment includes a removable hardtop, ambulance-style rear doors, and 15″ wheels along with a roll bar, a locking center console, and inward-facing jump seats. The truck left the factory finished in blue (854), and the seller tells us that it was disassembled and removed from the frame before being repainted in Freeborn Red (309).
