6.0L Vortec-Powered 1981 GMC K1500 Sierra Classic 4×4

This 1981 GMC K1500 Sierra Classic 4×4 pickup was refurbished under prior ownership, and work included installing a 6.0-liter Vortec V8 and fitting it with a Holley Terminator X Max EFI system. The truck rides on a lifted suspension and 18″ Rally wheels mounted with 35″ tires, and it has been repainted black and silver. Additional equipment includes a four-speed automatic transmission, a dual-range transfer case, a spray-on bedliner, a TMI Products bench seat, a Forever Sharp steering wheel, and a Kenwood stereo. Purchased by the seller in 2025, this K1500 Sierra Classic is offered with service records and a clean Utah title in the seller’s name.

The truck was repainted black and silver with a red stripe under prior ownership. Features include side steps, a chrome-finished bed-mounted roll bar, and a spray-on bedliner.

The 18″ Rally wheels are mounted with 35×12.5″ Nitto Terra Grappler tires. The truck is equipped with a 4″ suspension lift, power steering, and manually locking front hubs. Braking is provided by front discs and rear drums. Service completed in preparation for the sale included replacing the power steering pump.

The TMI Products bench seat is trimmed in black vinyl, and was installed in November 2025. Appointments include a Kenwood CD stereo, Covercraft floor mats, power windows, and an aftermarket floor console with cupholders. The seller states the passenger-side power window is slow.

The wood-rimmed Forever Sharp steering wheel sits ahead of an 85-mph speedometer and supplementary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 47k miles. A potential odometer rollover is shown on the Carfax report in July 1997. Total mileage is unknown.

The 6.0-liter Vortec V8 features a Holley Terminator X Max EFI system.

The four-speed automatic transmission is linked to a dual-range transfer case. A replacement exhaust system and rear fuel tank were installed and the front differential was overhauled under prior ownership. The driveshaft was rebuilt in December 2025, per the seller.
