Confirmed Kaizer Chiefs starting 11 vs Zamalek

Kaizer Chiefs are just 90 minutes away from securing a place in the CAF Confederation Cup quarterfinals this evening.

Standing in their path are Egyptian heavyweights Zamalek SC, with the crucial Group clash at 18:00 at the Suez Canal Authority Stadium in Ismailia.

Co-coaches Cedric Kaze and Khalil Ben Youssef have picked an experienced starting set.

Kaizer Chiefs’ journey in this competition has produced moments of pride but also painful near-misses. Their finest continental chapter came in 2001, when they lifted the African Cup Winners’ Cup after edging Angola’s Inter de Luanda 2-1 on aggregate over two legs.
