EPL: They keep throwing bones to City – Burley reacts as Arsenal drop points

Former Chelsea player, Craig Burley has shared his thoughts on Arsenal’s recent stumble in the Premier League title race after their 1-1 draw with Brentford.

This result means that Mikel Arteta’s team remains four points clear of second-placed Manchester City.

In an appearance on ESPN FC, Burley said, “Arsenal just keep throwing City a bone, don’t they?

“The unexpected loss to Manchester United at home was a surprise. While Nottingham Forest away is challenging, Brentford is a decent team.

“Still, Arsenal had a strong record there recently. They still keep throwing that bone Man City’s way just to keep them from being demoralised.”
