Congress Bags Majority of Municipalities; BRS Wins 8, Forward Block Takes Vaddepalli

Municipalities won by Congress:

Nereducharla, Huzurnagar, Haliya, Kodad, Nandikonda, Chandur, Chityal, Bhoothpur, Dharmapuri, Bhimgal, Bichkunda, Banswada, Yellareddy, Choppadandi, Sultanabad, Chennur, Manthani, Husnabad, Maripeda, Dornakal, Narayankhed, Sangareddy, Andole–Jogipet, Sadasivpet, Ramayampet, Huzurabad, Kollapur, Kalwakurthy, Maddur, Pebberu, Station Ghanpur, Madhira, Aswaraopet, Yellandu, Mulugu, Yadagirigutta, and Aleru.

Municipalities won by BRS:*

Gaddapotharam, Indresham, Aiza, Thorrur, Ibrahimpatnam, Thirumalagiri, Ameenpur (Amanagallu), and Sircilla.

Forward Block:

Vaddepalli Municipality was secured by the All India Forward Block.

With these results, Congress has established a dominant presence in the state’s municipal landscape.
