This 1988 Fiat X1/9 was produced in October 1987, and it is said to have been registered with three owners in Minnesota and New York before it was purchased in 2012 by the current owner, a collector in Washington state. Now showing 4,200 miles, the car features Rosso Metallizzato paintwork over blue vinyl and patterned cloth upholstery, and it is powered by a 1.5-liter Lampredi inline-four paired with a five-speed manual transaxle. Equipment includes a removable black roof panel, a rear spoiler, Vitaloni side mirrors, 13″ Speedline alloy wheels, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a cassette stereo. This X1/9 is now offered at no reserve on dealer consignment with service records dating back to 1989, a clean Carfax report, and a Washington title.

After Fiat exited the US market in 1982, Bertone assumed manufacturing responsibility for the X1/9 and continued to market the car until 1989. This example is finished in Rosso Metallizzato (408), and exterior equipment includes a removable black roof panel, pop-up headlights, Vitaloni side mirrors, a rear spoiler, impact bumpers, and side air intakes. Close-up photos of exterior imperfections are viewable in the gallery below. The image above, and a portion of the gallery images were taken in September 2025.

The 13″ Speedline alloy wheels are mounted with 175/70 Hercules MR IV Touring tires. Stopping power is provided by disc brakes at all four corners. The brake fluid was flushed in January 2026.

The cabin features bolstered bucket seats trimmed in blue vinyl and patterned cloth upholstery that extends to the door panels. Interior appointments include a cassette stereo, inertia-reel seatbelts, and a digital clock. The air conditioning does not blow cold.

The three-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts Veglia instrumentation including a 140-mph speedometer and a reverse-sweep 8k-rpm tachometer as well as gauges for voltage, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 4,200 miles, approximately 400 miles of which were added under current ownership. A replacement turn signal switch was installed in January 2026.

The mid-mounted 1.5-liter Lampredi inline-four was factory equipped with Bosch L-Jetronic fuel injection. The oil was changed in preparation for the sale.

Power is routed to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle. The underside was cleaned with dry ice in 2023, and the clutch hydraulic fluid was flushed in January 2026.

The Carfax report shows no accidents or other reported damage.

The current Washington state title is listed as a duplicate.
