If you’re looking for a new upgrade ready for the brighter days ahead, consider this your sign. Bag brand Eastpak has just released a brilliant collection that is inspired by artist Keith Haring, and trust us, these will leave you looking seriously cool.

Gone are the days of plain and simple accessories, as the new range packs a punch of personality for not only you, but those around you to enjoy. Inspired by Haring’s iconic pop-art graffiti-style artwork, get ready to make fashion fun again. Comprising energetic and playful designs with thick black outlines, if you’re not familiar with the artist’s work, you will want to be.

Keith Haring (1958-1990) was one of the most renowned of the young artists, filmmakers, and performers whose work responded to the urban street culture of the 1980s.

Inspired by the graffiti artists whose marks covered the city’s subway cars, Haring began to draw in white chalk over the black paper used to cover vacant advertising panels. Not only was Haring able to reach a large and diverse audience with his subway drawings, but, eventually, the subway became, as Haring said, a ‘laboratory’ for working out his ideas.

Eatpak has taken the likes of his famous heart and ‘Radiant Body’ artwork and plastered them across the likes of backpacks, totes, bum bags, accessories, and travel gear. Another great aspect about this collection is that it isn’t just good for yourself, but it will make a great gift for kids to give their school bags an artistic upgrade. 

One of our personal favourites has to be the black tote bag with a heart character printed on one side.
