This 1971 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 was acquired by the seller in 2022 and subsequently fitted with a fuel-injected 350ci V8, a 4L60E four-speed automatic transmission, and an Atlas twin-stick transfer case. The truck was refinished in red following bodywork, and the suspension, steering, and brakes were overhauled. Other build details include a modified roll cage, tubular half doors, rock sliders, a Warn winch, LED lighting, and an ARB air compressor. The cabin houses PRP front seats trimmed in red and black, a Rough Country refrigerator/freezer, AutoMeter instrumentation, a Grant steering wheel, and a Bluetooth module linked to an amplifier, subwoofers, and speakers located in the kick panels and on the roll cage. This modified FJ40 is now offered with service records from current ownership and a clean Arizona title in the seller’s name.

The truck has been refinished in red and is outfitted with black diamond-plate trim, rock sliders, tubular half doors, a Warn winch, an ARB air compressor, and LED lighting. The floor pans and tailgate were replaced, while the transmission tunnel and fenders were modified. Rust prevention and bedliner material were applied to the tub.

The refreshed suspension incorporates Bilstein 5100-Series shocks, Dobinsons leaf springs, a Saginaw tie rod kit, and anti-inversion shackles. A Skyjacker steering stabilizer kit has also been installed, and braking is handled by four-wheel discs. The rear calipers, brake booster, and brake master cylinder were replaced in 2024. Eight-hole wheels are mounted with BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A tires.

Modifications to the roll cage were performed in 2023. PRP front seats are trimmed in red and black, and a fabricated rear seat bracket is equipped with a cargo basket. A panel controlling various functions is housed in the dashboard alongside a Bluetooth control module that is linked to an amplifier, subwoofer, and speakers mounted in the kick panels and on the roll cage. A Rough Country refrigerator/freezer is located in the rear, and a storage console is located between the front seats.

The Grant steering wheel sits ahead of AutoMeter instrumentation, which includes a 120-mph speedometer and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 5k miles.

The 350ci V8 was installed under current ownership and is equipped with Edelbrock Pro Flo 4 fuel injection and a dual-battery setup. The truck was re-wired following the seller’s acquisition, and the radiator, electric fan, motor mounts, and fuel tank, pump, and lines were replaced.

The 4L60E four-speed automatic transmission and the Atlas dual-range transfer case were installed in 2024. The front and rear axles were also relocated at that time.
The current Arizona title carries an “Exceeds Mechanical Limits” notation.
