Scrubs Trailer Sees Zach Braff, Donald Faison & More Return for ABC TV Show

ABC and Hulu have shared a new Scrubs revival trailer, previewing the upcoming reboot of the iconic comedy series that’s set to premiere on February 25, 2026.

“ABC’s new Scrubs will follow JD (Braff) and Turk (Faison), who scrub in together for the first time in a long time- medicine has changed, interns have changed, but their bromance has stood the test of time,” Deadline further reports. “Characters new and old navigate the waters of Sacred Heart with laughter, heart, and some surprises along the way.”

What happens in the Scrubs trailer?

The new trailer doesn’t dive too much into the medical cases of the upcoming revival. However, it does see the returning cast of stars from the original series all getting into their usual antics and it highlights some of the more emotional moments as well.

The Scrubs reboot cast is being led by returning stars Zach Braff, Donald Faison, Sarah Chalke, Judy Reyes, and John C. McGinley, all of whom will step back into their iconic roles as doctors and nurses for the show.

The revival is created and executive-produced by Bill Lawrence of Doozer Productions, with Aseem Batra set as the reboot’s showrunner. In addition to leading the cast, Braff, Faison, and Chalke are also serving as executive producers alongside Jeff Ingold and Liza Katzer for Doozer Productions and Batra. It is a production by 20th Television.
