Police are hunting an ‘extremely dangerous’ drill rapper who managed to escape prison during a hospital visit.

Daniel Boakye, 21, fled from HMP Feltham after he was taken to West Middlesex Hospital under escort in the early hours of Tuesday.

He has links to north London gangs and was jailed for six years in 2023 for conspiracy to commit robbery and an additional robbery offence.

He is known to perform raps under the name Dsavv and is best known for his songs such as ‘No Kiddin’, and ‘Pocket Rocket’.

A prison source told The Sun: ‘This is a huge cock-up and a massive embarrassment to the prison service.

‘Although he is only in for robbery, Boakye is extremely dangerous and has links to serious gang members.

‘He would have been double-cuffed – ie cuffed to a guard – at all times and the fear is that an officer has made a mistake and un-cuffed him for some reason.

‘Everyone at Feltham is really shocked and all the staff were told about it on email at 8am.

Police were told and there is a massive hunt to find him because he is so dangerous.’

Boakye is understood to have links to London gang OFB – Original Farm Boys – based on the Broadwater Farm estate in Tottenham.

He is known for his lyrics boasting of committing knife crimes, in one rap he says: ‘Man plug that shank in his socket. You should’ve saw the way he ran, that muppet.

‘Still caught him and I chinged that muppet. Crime scene juice got spilled like bucket.’

Between June 2021 and January 2022, Boakye and three other teenagers participated in a spree of robberies and attempted robberies across London, Essex Live reports.

Armed with knives, they forced victims to hand over their mobile phones and provide passcodes to unlock them.

The group then transferred victims’ cryptocurrency into ‘hot wallets’, stealing more than £115,000 in total.

They also used stored bank details to buy top-up cards, pay for taxi fares and complete other fraudulent transactions.

The gang were only caught after detectives identified their home addresses from takeaway orders they paid for using stolen bank details.

A Met spokesperson said: ‘Shortly after 03:30hrs on Tuesday, 10 February, the Met was informed by the Prison Service that a prisoner had escaped custody while under the care of prison staff at a west London hospital.

‘The prisoner is a 21-year-old man. While the investigation proceeds at pace, we will not be able to provide further details. Officers are carrying out urgent enquiries in an effort to locate him and return him to custody.’

A Prison Service spokesperson said: ‘We are urgently working with the Metropolitan Police to recapture this prisoner and investigating how he was able to escape from hospital.’
