This 1979 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am is a 10th Anniversary Edition example that is powered by a 403ci V8 linked with a three-speed automatic transmission and a Safe-T-Track limited-slip differential. Repainted in Platinum and Charcoal over gray leather upholstery, the car is equipped with 15″ alloy wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, KYB shocks, an aftermarket exhaust system, glass T-top roof panels, a shaker hood, pace-car graphics, power windows and locks, and a Pioneer cassette stereo. The car was acquired in January 2026 by the selling dealer, a BaT Local Partner, and its odometer now shows 76k miles. This Firebird Trans Am is offered with a clean Florida title.

All 10th Anniversary Edition Trans Ams were finished in Platinum and Charcoal, and this example has been repainted and features Daytona 500 Pace Car graphics. Other exterior details include front and rear spoilers, a shaker hood, removable glass T-top roof panels, painted mirror housings, and quad exhaust outlets.

Turbo Air Flow 15″ alloy wheels are mounted with 225/70 BFGoodrich Radial T/A white-letter tires produced in 2019. The suspension has been fitted with KYB shock absorbers, and braking is provided by power-assisted four-wheel discs with replacement calipers.

The front bucket seats and the split rear bench are upholstered in gray leather, and the door panels are trimmed to match. Additional appointments include an engine-turned dash fascia, a Pioneer AM/FM/cassette stereo, power windows and locks, and a full-length center console. Air-conditioning controls are in place, although the compressor and plumbing are missing. Discoloration on the passenger seat, headliner, carpeting, and seat belts is depicted in the gallery.

The tilt-adjustable, leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 100-mph speedometer and a 6k-rpm tachometer with an inset analog clock along with gauges for oil pressure and water temperature. Additional gauges for fuel level and voltage are housed to the right. The five-digit odometer shows 76k miles, approximately 10 of which were added under current ownership.

The 403ci V8 was factory equipped with a four-barrel carburetor and rated at 185 horsepower and 320 lb-ft of torque. The aftermarket dual exhaust system features long-tube headers, an X-pipe, and Flowmaster mufflers, and it is not equipped with catalytic converters. Recent work is said to have included replacing the battery and changing the fluids. The intake inlet and ducting are missing.

Power is routed to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission and a Safe-T-Track limited-slip differential.

The VIN decodes as follows:
