This 1985 Chevrolet Corvette coupe is said to have remained with the family of its original owner until it was purchased by the seller in 2022. Finished in Silver Metallic over Dark Red leather upholstery, the car is powered by a 5.7-liter L98 V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes a limited-slip differential, a removable tinted-glass roof panel, 16″ turbine-style alloy wheels, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, a Delco-Bose sound system, a cassette stereo, air conditioning, and pop-up headlights. Reported work under current ownership has included repairing fluid leaks, flushing the brake and clutch-line fluids, and replacing the clutch, battery, steering rack, muffler, and rear wheel bearings. Showing 77k miles, this C4 coupe is offered at no reserve with a service record, a clean Carfax report, and a Washington title in the seller’s name.

The car is finished in Silver Metallic (13) and features pop-up headlights, fog lamps, and quad exhaust outlets as well as a removable tinted-glass roof panel that is cracked. A headlight mechanism was repaired in preparation for the sale. Photos provided in the gallery below show a broken front air dam along with scratches in the finish and scuffs at the right-front corner of the car.

Turbine-style 16″ alloy wheels are mounted with Big O Euro DXP tires. The car is equipped with four-wheel independent suspension, and braking is provided by power-assisted four-wheel discs. Service in June 2023 included flushing the brake fluid and replacing the steering rack and rear wheel bearings.

The bucket seats are upholstered in Dark Red leather and are accompanied by color-coordinated door panels and carpets. Additional appointments include air conditioning, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, power windows, a Delco-Bose sound system, an AM/FM/cassette stereo, cruise control, and an onboard computer. The climate-control temperature selector is stuck in the middle of its adjustment range.

The two-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a digital instrument panel that includes a speedometer, a tachometer, and a fuel-level display as well as numeric readouts for oil pressure, oil temperature, coolant temperature, and fuel economy. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows 77k miles, approximately 2k of which were added under current ownership.

The 5.7-liter L98 V8 is equipped with Tuned Port Injection and was factory rated at 230 horsepower and 330 lb-ft of torque. The battery connections were cleaned in 2023, and work in 2024 reportedly included repairing fluid leaks and replacing the battery and muffler.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Doug Nash β4+3β manual transmission featuring push-button overdrive in the top three gears as well as a limited-slip differential. The clutch-line fluid was flushed in June 2023, and the seller tells us that the clutch was replaced in 2024.
The Carfax report is free of accident or damage entries.
The vehicle’s Washington title carries an “Antique” brand.
