This 1996 Toyota Tacoma LX XtraCab has remained registered in California since new, and it was acquired by the seller in 2007. Power is provided by a 3.4-liter 5VZ V6 linked with a five-speed manual transmission, and the truck is finished in white over gray upholstery. Equipment includes a sunroof, 14″ five-spoke wheels, a bed liner, a sliding rear window, a receiver hitch, power steering, air conditioning, a Kenwood stereo linked to subwoofers, and the Convenience package, which added a tilt steering wheel, intermittent wipers, and additional instrumentation. Service since 2020 involved mounting Hankook tires and replacing the valve cover gaskets, radiator, and battery. This Tacoma shows 201k miles and is now offered at no reserve with the owner’s manual, service records, and a California title in the seller’s name.

The extended-cab body is finished in white and features a sunroof, a drop-in bed liner, mud flaps, a sliding rear window, a receiver hitch, and chrome bumpers. The seller reports that the front bumper, lower valance, and turn signals were replaced under current ownership following previous damage. The left fender and left front side marker light assembly were replaced and the hood, left fender, and left door were refinished following an accident in September 2024. The Carfax report lists an accident in September 2024. The windshield wiper arms do not automatically return to their resting position, and the trailer light wiring harness is worn and should be replaced along with the sunroof seal, on which a tear is noted. Additional noted flaws include peeling finish on the window trim and sliding window frame, missing decals on the left door and fender, scratches on the tailgate, and a paint chip and dents on the left quarter panel.

The 14″ five-spoke wheels were mounted with 215/70 Hankook Kinergy ST tires in December 2025, and the tires have 2025 date codes. Braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums, and the right front brake caliper was replaced in February 2024. The truck is equipped with power steering.

The cabin features gray cloth and vinyl upholstery on the seats along with a color-coordinated dash, door panel inserts, and carpets. Amenities include power windows and locks, air conditioning, a dash cover, and a Kenwood CD stereo linked to an aftermarket amplifier under the seat and two subwoofers housed in the rear cabin. The seller states an alarm and keyless entry system have also been added. The cruise control system works intermittently, the driver’s seat belt does not automatically retract, and the driver’s seat is ripped.

The two-spoke steering wheel frames a 110-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 5,500-rpm redline as well as gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 201k miles, approximately 92k of which were added under current ownership.

The 3.4-liter 5VZ V6 was factory rated at 190 horsepower and 220 lb-ft of torque. The timing belt, water pump, and air conditioning compressor were replaced in 2012. The radiator was replaced in 2020, the valve cover gaskets were replaced in 2022, and the battery was replaced in February 2024. Fluid services were performed in preparation for the sale.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission. Additional underside photos are provided in the gallery.
The Carfax report lists the aforementioned accident in September 2024.
The California title lists a “commercial” notation.
