Sheila guesses it’s Taylor, and Deacon confirms it. Sheila marvels at the positive impact Taylor has had on their relationship. Her comment triggers a flashback for Deacon of an intimate moment he shared with Taylor.

Ridge Misses Eric

Ridge admits he misses Eric, even though he was the one who encouraged his retirement. Although he left the door open for Eric’s return, Ridge is relieved that he hasn’t come back. He wonders if Eric could help Katie understand not to use the Logan name. Ridge then critiques Katie’s abilities, initially guessing she’s the lead designer and expressing doubt that she can handle the challenges of running a fashion house.

Bill Warns Liam

Bill warns Liam not to let word get out that Eric is involved in Katie’s business. Liam worries that keeping it a secret might cause trouble for the family business. Brooke and Hope speculate about what Eric might be doing now, and later press Liam about who Katie’s lead designer is. Liam claims he has no idea.

Ridge Learns About Taylor’s Dating Status

While Ridge reflects on Eric’s lack of communication, Steffy informs him that Taylor is seeing someone, which could be bad for the family. She reveals it’s Deacon, leaving Ridge stunned. She also doesn’t want to lose Deacon and longs for a kiss. While Deacon wonders if Steffy is bluffing, Taylor insists she isn’t. Deacon now can’t imagine going back to Sheila, as he deeply loves Taylor. He gives an emotional speech, and the two later share a passionate kiss.
