Yellow level 2 Warning: Severe Thunderstorms with heavy downpours, damaging winds, excessive lightning and hail, leading to localised flooding of susceptible roads, low- lying areas and bridges, and damage to infrastructure and settlements, are expected over the extreme south-east of Northern Cape, south-western parts of Free State, south-eastern parts of Western Cape, parts of Eastern Cape, and southern parts of KwaZulu-Natal.

FIRE DANGER WARNINGS

Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected over the central and eastern parts of the Northern Cape.

ADVISORIES

Hot and humid weather will result in very uncomfortable conditions in places along the coast and adjacent interior of the Eastern Cape, as well as over the eastern parts of KwaZulu-Natal, where the conditions will persist until Friday (06/02/2026). 2.
