This 1961 Buick LeSabre four-door sedan was reportedly sold new in Iowa, and it spent time in several states before it was purchased by the seller in 2005 and relocated to Washington State. The car is finished in turquoise with an Arctic White roof over gray upholstery, and power comes from a 364ci Wildcat V8 paired with a Turbine Drive transmission and a Posi-Traction differential. Equipment includes a two-barrel carburetor, a dual exhaust system, power-assisted steering and drum brakes, reverse lamps, a power-adjustable front bench seat with lap belts, a Mirrormagic speedometer, and an electric clock. This Series 4400 LeSabre is now offered with factory literature, a maintenance list compiled by the seller, and a Washington title in the seller’s name.

Buick produced a total of 35,005 LeSabre four-door sedans for the 1961 model year. This example was finished from the factory in Turquoise with an Arctic White roof (PC1) and was optioned with bright window and trim moldings. Exterior details include quad headlamps, triple faux Ventiports on the fenders, a manually retractable antenna, two-speed windshield wipers, Buick-branded side-view mirrors, reverse lights, and a dual exhaust with chrome finishers that exit below the rear bumper. Touch-ups are noted on the left corner of the decklid, and imperfections in the finish can be seen in the gallery.

Black-painted steel wheels wear chrome covers, and they are mounted with 7.60–15″ BFGoodrich Silvertown bias-ply whitewall tires showing 2007 date codes. A spare wheel and jack are stowed in the trunk. The car is equipped with power-assisted steering, and stopping is provided by power-assisted drums.

The cabin houses two rows of bench seats trimmed in gray vinyl with color-coordinated striped cloth inserts and black accents. Matching door panels are fitted, while gray carpets topped with blue Buick-branded mats cover the floors. Equipment includes a heater and defroster, an electric clock, and a power-adjustable front bench seat with lap belts. The push-button Sonomatic AM radio does not work.

The two-spoke steering wheel fronts a 120-mph “Mirrormagic” speedometer with an adjustable “Speed Minder” readout and a fuel gauge. The five-digit odometer shows 48k miles, approximately 4k of which were added under the seller’s ownership.

The 364ci Wildcat V8 features a two-barrel carburetor, and it was factory rated at 250 horsepower at 4,400 rpm. Engine stamping 4H4019731 can be seen in the gallery, and it matches the car’s serial number. A replacement battery and negative cable end were installed in October 2025.

Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a Turbine Drive automatic transmission and a Posi-Traction differential. A circular hole in the trunk floor can be seen in the gallery, along with areas of corrosion on the underside.
