8k-Mile 2003 Ford Thunderbird

This 2003 Ford Thunderbird spent its first 16 years in California, and it now has 8k miles. Finished in Desert Sky Blue over black leather, it is powered by a 3.9-liter V8 paired with a five-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes a black soft top, a removable hardtop, integrated fog lights, traction control, 17″ wheels, heated power-adjustable seats, the Black Interior Accent Package, an in-dash six-CD changer, and dual-zone automatic climate control. Acquired by the seller in 2019, this Thunderbird is now offered with a clean Carfax report and a Virginia title in the seller’s name.

The 17″ seven-spoke chrome Premium wheels feature Thunderbird-branded center caps and were mounted with Yokohama tires in 2019, at which time the rear tie rods were replaced. The car is equipped with traction control, four-wheel independent suspension, and ventilated disc brakes.

The interior features heated power-adjustable seats trimmed in black leather, while the shift knob has a high-gloss accent. Amenities include dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, and an AM/FM stereo with an in-dash CD changer.

The leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel features a contrasting high-gloss black upper accent and frames a 160-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 8k miles, approximately 2k of which were added under current ownership.

The 3.9-liter V8 features dual overhead camshafts per cylinder bank and variable valve timing. Output was rated at 280 horsepower and 286 lb-ft of torque when new.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed automatic transmission with SelectShift manual shifting mode.
