Iran – Joint statement by members of the Freedom Online Coalition on Internet shutdowns in Iran (04.02.26)

We, the members of the Freedom Online Coalition, express serious concern regarding the human rights violations committed by the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran since 28 December 2025.
We are deeply alarmed at the reports of mass injury and deaths of peaceful protestors who are exercising their legitimate rights to freedom of expression, association and peaceful assembly.
