Carabao Cup: Arsenal beat Chelsea, to face Man City, Newcastle in final

Arsenal will play in this season’s Carabao Cup final after they defeated Chelsea 1-0 in their semi-final second leg.

Mikel Arteta’s men came into the match leading 3-2 from the first leg played at Stamford Bridge.

But it was a tight affair at the Emirates, as both teams remained compact for most of the game.

The first half ended without any goals, and with a few seconds left, Declan Rice found Kai Havertz in space.

Havertz coolly played the ball around Robert Sanchez and tapped the ball into an empty net.

Arsenal will now face either Manchester City or Newcastle United in the final.

City lead the tie 2-0 from the first leg at St James’ Park.
