This 1996 Mercedes-Benz E50 AMG is one of approximately 2,870 examples produced and was imported from Canada to the US after the current owner’s purchase in 2024. Finished in Brilliant Silver Metallic over Anthracite leather upholstery, the car is powered by a 5.0-liter M119 V8 linked to a five-speed automatic transmission and features model-specific lower bodywork, 18″ AMG Monoblock wheels, and Birdseye maple wood trim. Factory options include power-folding side mirrors, a power-operated rear shade, heated front and rear seats, and the Memory package. A power sunroof, an Alpine digital media receiver, and dual-zone automatic climate control are also equipped. This E50 AMG now has 19k kilometers (~12k miles) and is offered on dealer consignment with a clean California title.

Produced exclusively for the European market, the E50 AMG was introduced at the 1995 Frankfurt International Auto Show and featured revised bumper covers and rocker panels as well as AMG-branded twin exhaust tips. This car is finished in Brilliant Silver Metallic (744U) and features optional power-folding side mirrors, a power-operated sunroof, Xenon headlights with washers, fog lights, and Avantgarde fender badges.

The 18″ AMG Monoblock wheels are wrapped in 235/40 front and 265/35 rear Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. The car is equipped with Acceleration Slip Regulation (ASR), and braking is handled by four-wheel discs with ABS.

The cabin is trimmed in Anthracite leather, and model-specific Birdseye maple wood trim accents the dashboard, center console, and door panels. An Alpine digital media receiver has been installed, and factory amenities include heated and power-adjustable front seats with three-position memory, heated rear seats, auto-dimming driver-side and rearview mirrors, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a power-operated rear shade.

The four-spoke steering wheel frames an AMG-branded instrument cluster consisting of a 280-km/h speedometer, a tachometer with a 6k-rpm redline, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 19k kilometers (~12k miles), approximately 6k of which were added under current ownership.

The 5.0-liter M119 V8 was factory-rated at 342 horsepower and 354 lb-ft of torque. The car passed a California emissions inspection in October 2024.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed automatic transmission.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage.
