Missing Woman’s Body Found in Hussainsagar; Police Suspect Suicide

The police said the woman T Vijaya Lakshmi, who was working in an IT company in Hyderabad, could have ended her life after her marriage proposals were rejected allegedly due to her mother, who was suffering from health problems.

Lakshmi’s condition to ensure that her mother would stay with her after the marriage was resulting in cancellation of marriage proposals forcing her to slip into depression. Since her childhood, Lakshmi was taking care of her mother after the death of her father.

She felt that her mother would remain alone after her marriage. Unable to bear the depression, she could have ended her life by jumping into Hussainsagar. The police retrieved the body and handed it over to the family members.
