This 1991 Porsche 911 Carrera 2 was registered in California until 2012, and it was sold on BaT in February 2019 by the selling dealer before it was registered in Illinois. The car was optioned with a limited-slip differential, sport seats, an electric sunroof, and cruise control, and it has been modified with KW V3 coilovers, 17″ Cup-style Mille Miglia wheels, front brake cooling ducts, a B&B exhaust system, a revised engine management chip, and a Clarion Bluetooth stereo head unit. Finished in Grand Prix White over black leather upholstery, the car is powered by a 3.6L flat-six paired with a 5-speed manual transaxle. Reacquired by the selling dealer in 2025, this 964 shows 111k miles, and it is offered in California with a 2025 pre-purchase inspection document, partial service records, spare parts, a clean Carfax, and an Illinois title.

The body was repainted in the factory shade of Grand Prix White under previous ownership. Exterior revisions include Rennline door handles, aero mirrors, and brake cooling ducts in the front bumper. There are touched-up stone chips on the leading portion of the frunk lid, and there is a scratch on the corner of the rear bumper.

Previously installed coilovers were removed following the 2019 auction and replaced with a KW V3 setup and new suspension bushings, per the selling dealer. Silver-finished Cup-style 17″ Mille Miglia wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ tires that show 2015 production codes. Replacement brake pads and rotors are said to have been installed in 2021.

The power-adjustable front sport bucket seats are upholstered in black leather and are complemented by a color-coordinated dashboard, center console, and door panels. Amenities include a Clarion Bluetooth stereo, aluminum pedal covers, alloy door pulls, power windows, and cruise control. The air conditioning system was converted to utilize R134a refrigerant and charged in July 2021. The disconnected heater tube is included in the sale, and the blower motor has been removed. Some creases are visible on the driver’s seat bolsters.

A leather-wrapped four-spoke steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation including a central tachometer with a 6,800-rpm redline as well as a 180-mph speedometer, a Quarz analog clock, and gauges for oil level, oil pressure, oil temperature, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 111k miles, approximately 500 of which were added under current ownership. The selling dealer states that the oil pressure gauge was repaired in preparation for the sale and is now functional.

The air-cooled 3.6L M64 flat-six was overhauled circa 2014, and it was modified under previous ownership with a Steve Wong performance chip, a K&N air filter, and a lightweight flywheel, per the selling dealer. The selling dealer tells us the engine was removed and resealed following the 2019 auction, and that the spark plugs, ignition wires, and fuel lines were replaced. The December 2025 pre-purchase inspection in the gallery shows compression test results, and it notes dampness on the timing chain covers and right valve cover.

Power is sent to the rear wheels via a G50 five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. A B&B exhaust system with headers was installed under previous ownership, and the selling dealer tells us the clutch and slave cylinder were recently replaced.

Decoding the option sticker reveals the following information:

  • L908 – Grand Prix White paint
  • LT – Black partial leather interior
  • C02 – Version for USA
  • 030 – Sports suspension
  • 158 – Cassette-radio Blaupunkt Reno SQR 46

  • 387 – Sports seat, right, electrical height adjustment
  • 454 – Automatic speed control

The Carfax report shows no accidents or other reported damage. The car has not passed a California smog test since 2012, and some of the aftermarket components installed may not be CARB-legal.

The current Illinois title lists a “mileage not required” notation.
