This 1998 BMW M3 coupe was initially delivered to John Roberts BMW in Dallas, Texas, and has 54k miles following registration history in that state and California. Powered by a 3.2-liter inline-six paired with a five-speed manual transmission, the car was specified in Cosmos Black Metallic over a black Nappa leather interior, which houses front Vader sport seats. Bilstein dampers and an Active Autowerke exhaust system are fitted, and further equipment includes a limited-slip differential, a sunroof, fog lights, 17″ Style 24 wheels, cruise control, a cassette stereo, and a Harman Kardon sound system. Purchased by the current owner in 2025, this E36 M3 coupe is offered on dealer consignment with a copy of the window sticker, manufacturer’s literature, service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title.

The car is finished in Cosmos Black Metallic (303) and features fog lights, a sunroof, dual exhaust outlets, and factory aerodynamic bumpers, side sills, and mirrors. The door handle seals were replaced in 2025, and close-up photographs of the exterior finish and trim are shown in the gallery below.

Staggered-width 17″ Style 24 wheels are fitted with a mixed set of Michelin and Pirelli tires. Bilstein B8 dampers have been installed, and the car is equipped with a sport-tuned suspension, traction control, and four-wheel ventilated disc brakes. The sway bar links, upper and lower control arms, brake pads, and rotors were replaced in 2025.

The cabin features manually adjustable Vader sport seats upholstered in black Nappa leather, along with matching door panels and carpets. M3-branded floor mats line the footwells, and features include cruise control, a cassette stereo, and Harman Kardon sound system. The glovebox release button was replaced in 2025. The left zone climate control button does not work.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, fuel economy, and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 54k miles, approximately 500 of which were added under current ownership.

The 3.2-liter S52B32 inline-six was factory rated at 240 horsepower and 236 lb-ft of torque. The thermostat was replaced in 2022, and the oil was changed in June 2025.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. An Active Autowerke exhaust system is fitted.

A copy of the window sticker will accompany the sale, along with service records and manufacturer’s literature.
The Carfax report is free of accidents or other reported damage.
