This 1996 Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec was imported to the US in 2021 before being acquired by the seller in 2022 and modified in 2024. Highlights of the build included fitting the 2.6L RB26 inline-six with a single Garrett G35-900 turbocharger featuring a twin-scroll hot-side in addition to a Plazmaman front-mount intercooler, a Greddy 3.5″ exhaust system, and a Haltech ECU. Finished in Midnight Purple Pearl, the car wears an aftermarket front lip spoiler and carbon-fiber rear wing blade. It rides on WedsSport 18″ wheels coupled with Tein adjustable coilovers and R35-sourced Brembo disc brakes at all four corners, while shifting is through a five-speed manual transmission linked with an ATTESA E-TS all-wheel-drive system and a limited-slip rear differential. Further equipment include Super HICAS rear-axle steering as well as a MOMO steering wheel, a Haltech digital dash, an Alpine head unit, and gray cloth–trimmed monoform front bucket seats. This R33 Skyline GT-R is now offered with a clean Illinois title in the seller’s name.

The car left the factory finished in Midnight Purple Pearl (LP2). The aftermarket front lip was repainted to correct rock chips in 2025, and a carbon-fiber wing blade has been added out back. Projector-style headlights, quad taillights, and a rear window wiper are further details.

The WedsSport SA-72R 18″ wheels are finished in black with blue accents and mounted with Falken Azenis FR-510 tires. The car was factory equipped with Super HICAS rear-axle steering and has been fitted with Tein adjustable coilovers as well as R35-sourced Brembo disc brakes, the latter of which were installed using a kit from Supertec Racing.

The right-hand-drive cabin features monoform bucket seats upholstered in gray cloth with contrasting inserts, which extends to the two-place rear bench as well as the door and side panels. An Alpine head unit and backup camera were installed by the seller along with a Viper keyless-entry setup. Retained factory appointments include automatic climate control and a digital clock along with power windows, mirrors, and door locks.

A three-spoke MOMO steering wheel is paired with a NISMO shift knob. The seller states that the factory gauge cluster was removed at ~77k miles (~124k kilometers) and replaced with the current Haltech IC7 digital dash. The unit’s digital odometer now reads 2,800 miles. The seller estimates that total chassis mileage is ~80k miles.

The 2.6-liter RB26DETT inline-six is equipped with individual throttle bodies, dual overhead camshafts, and 24 valves. The factory twin turbochargers were replaced with a single Garrett G35-900 62mm unit with a 1.06-A/R-ratio twin-scroll hot-side housing and exhaust manifold from 6boost at the seller’s shop in 2024. The seller tells us that additional parts and components include:

  • Plazmaman race-series front-mount intercooler with custom piping
  • Plazmaman billet fuel rails with custom A/N fuel lines
  • NGK Iridium spark plugs
  • Platinum Racing Products (PRP) ignition coil kit
  • FORE Innovations fuel pressure regulator with electronic fuel pressure sensor
  • Injector Dynamics ID1700 injectors and ID350 fuel filter
  • Radium Engineering fuel pump hanger
  • TI Automotive E5LM Bugatti Veyron–spec fuel pump and controller
  • Koyo aluminum radiator
  • Dahtone Racing coolant catch can and reservoir
  • TiALSport MVR 44mm wastegates
  • TiALSport Q-Series 50mm blow-off valve
  • HKS metal gasket kit for throttle bodies, plenum, and exhaust
  • Haltech Elite 2500 ECU
  • Haltech electronic boost controller and flex-fuel sensor

The timing and valve covers have been powdercoated orange, while a wrinkle-black finish has been applied to the intake plenum. The engine is said to have been tuned to utilize 93 octane gasoline or E85 flex fuel by Jeff Evans of Evans Tuning in Mt. Bethel, Pennsylvania.

Power is routed to all four wheels through a five-speed manual transmission linked with an ATTESA E-TS all-wheel-drive system as well as a limited-slip rear differential. The seller tells us that a billet flywheel and six-puck clutch assembly from South Bend Clutch have been added along with a “pull-to-push” clutch engagement conversion. The Greddy 3″ exhaust system features a test pipe in place of a catalytic converter.
